The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking an innovative and accomplished designer to develop outline design proposals to improve the streets throughout Hounslow town centre. Within this area, they will design and oversee the implementation of a new public realm for the western part of Hounslow High Street. The Borough is seeking to appoint a single design consultancy or consortia of practices led by a single consultancy to deliver the project. The following expertise is required: urban design, landscape design, public/stakeholder consultation, quantity surveying, electrical engineering and drainage engineering. The project is funded principally through the Mayor’s Outer London Fund and works on site are to be completed by March 2014.
