Help us safeguard the rights of authors and especially of photographers. This means: refraining from publishing on Europaconcorsi material of which you are not the author, images and photographs taken by others and texts which you did not write.
We kindly ask you to take something very important into account: both of us are required to comply with national and international regulations that govern copyrights. This is why we ask you, before you publish any material, to declare that you in fact possess the copyright to the images that you wish to publish.
This is absolutely necessary in order to safeguard you and us both from legal problems and to protect the authors of the images. For the same reason, we ask you to please refrain from publishing images taken from websites, magazines, books, postcards or in any event taken from other publications.
When you purchase images from a professional photographer, you can usually use them for your private uses but you cannot grant these rights to third parties, and consequently you cannot publish them on Europaconcorsi.
However, we can do so once we have obtained the photographer’s permission!
To do this, send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org containing:
We will arrange for contacting the author, asking his/her consent to the publication and completing your sheet with the authorized images. This service is free of charge.
This is the right thing to do towards the photographer, who would then see his/her material being properly acknowledged and linked to his/her personal sheet within our photographer database.
Should you have any doubts or questions, write to: info@europaconcorsi. We are here to help you!
