E’ un’architettura per appartamenti di vacanza, costruita su una spiaggia del mare Adriatico. La necessità di garantire la vista al mare per tutti i trentadue appartamenti e lo stretto terreno perpendicolare al mare hanno generato un grande edificio composto da tre volumi bianchi semi-ellittici incastrati tra di loro. Le strutture brise-soleil in legno proteggono le terrazze dalle viste laterali e disegnano volumi virtuali che si sommano a quello reale. L’architettura ricorda il razionalismo delle colonie estive di inizio ‘900: semplici volumi bianchi interrotti da piccole finestre, ampie vetrate sulle terrazze dai parapetti in acciaio.

Le grandi masse di pietra bianca sono contrapposte agli elementi in legno e acciaio he creano i volumi virtuali delle terrazze. The large white stone masses are juxtaposed with elements in wood and steel that make up the virtual volumes of the terraces.

Architecture for vacation apartments built on the beach on the Adriatic sea. The need to guarantee a sea view for all 32 apartments and the narrow plot perpendicular to the sea resulted in a large building made up of three semi-elliptical structures fitted together. Wood brise-soleil structures protect the terraces’ side views and create virtual designs that add to the actual design. The architecture brings to mind the rationalism of the summer colonies of the beginning of the 20th Century: simple white volumes interrupted by small windows, large glass windows out onto the terraces with their steel parapets.

La sfida è stata di garantire che ogni residenza avesse una vista privata e privilegiata verso il mare. The challenge was to guarantee that each residence had a private and privileged view toward the sea.

La relazione con il mare e la spiaggia è assolutamente privilegiata ed esclusiva. The relationship with the sea and the beach is absolutely privileged and exclusive.
