The project proposes a general ordination of a site by various building elements whose communication nucleuses are connected to a “closed inner street”, designed in a way that resembles the typical streets and passages of the historical part of Seville. Parallel to this movement, different lateral pedestrian passages run along the building accompanied by greenery. As a result the exterior space and working areas, constructed in successive stages, intertwine and communicate. And the different zones are combined in a continuous unit that enriches both areas. The ample vestibule or central street is defined by two parallel structural wings that both consist in a central corridor that separate two rows of offices. Moreover this open space is crossed and differentiated by “bridges” that are situated at various levels and position, creating a diverse image. The bridges do not only contribute to the total visual expression, however they also contain various spaces of multi use that serve both office wings. The collocation of the volumes makes possible a comprehensible orientation and the visitor can easily reach both the vertical communication nucleuses as well as the public facilities such as the cafeteria, the reception, the commercial area, the education hall and the assembly hall. An important aspect of this design was the orientation of the façade (Surfaces protected by vertical, curved elements that outline an open “curtain”, containing concave and convex elements). In addition these façade elements filtrate and control illumination and ventilation. The contrasts found in the austere exterior emphasize and highlights the interior spaces. In total the design define a building constructively and functionally related to our time, but at the same time it produce references to the characteristic buildings of Seville whose historical architecture is characterized by neat regulation and control of illumination, play of sun and shadow and the creation of pleasant space connected to water or/and greenery. The classical sequence of three components; the plaza, the street and building structure are reproduced. Accompanied by a change in scale and visual diversity, this sequence is united by entrance space, bridges and vestibule (vertical communication nucleuses).
