The intentions we had for the development of our proposal are: -Planning a building for the use, responding to the claim which is requested -The surroundings, regarding accurate ambients which support the energetic savings -Optimating costs, in construction as well as maintenance The collective in which leads a apartment building and point of the day are elderly, who are mostly living alone and need support and integration, for all of us supporting the life together, social integration, the solidarity and the support to each other within the Community. Planning a building which shuts the surroundings without to much life and has it’s own life within , which has quality in it’s communal spaces. With those pricipals, we are developing a building around a patio which creates a supporting life in the interior, which connects the surroundings through the two big courts, on e on the north side the other on the south side, which connect with the different buildings in the district with its solid and existing urban structure. Through the south courtyard we are keeping and amplifying the connection with the sea, an important element of the surrounding, planning a terrace- living room which allows to enjoy a great view of the beach.

Located in the ground floor. in the middle of the social center and premises, with the entrance directly to the street and also through the patio, in a typical floor plan we propose 22 rooms, a total of 65. The number of stairs and elevators of the rooms are diminished, proposing 2 centers, one of which is related directly to the center, so that the residents have direct access to the habitationes. They also allow access from the street, in case the patio is closed. The main happening is placed around the patio, allowing contact of all the dependants with it and enjoying the possibility to extend the activities to the inner patio, which consists of 3 green dunes, that separate the exterior space with the main happening area, of the central route that unites both connections of the proposed building. This also allows to plant trees that donate shade to the great patio. In the typical floor plan 22 rooms are placed around the patio, with access from a corrected gallery and leading to the patio, so that each user can adapt without stopping maintaining social relations with the neighbours. There are 2 typologies of rooms. One, with one room (A type), with a total of 59 rooms and another with 2 rooms (B type), located in front with a total of 6 rooms.
