Site plan Think Local Act Global: The project, along with its site plan schemes creates a harmonious urban sector, and variable structure is designed to configure a SMART complex, eco-friendly and sustainable, able to sustain high levels of environmental quality and welfare of the inhabitants. The project is based on certain strategic targets, in order to offer a range of simple innovations compatible with the socio-cultural and environmental aspects of the place and current usage patterns of residence and reproducible, economically and technologically, in current local situation. These priorities concern the project as a complete system (in relation to the system’s viability, morphology and type of building, and integrated system of green), potentially associated to the “spatial pattern” of patios and paths of the site. The type of the block house, with the different configurations and phases of building is able to articulate in simple hybridizations with the various requirements of modular surface and housing concepts. Formally similar living spaces find an important reference in the climatic conditions, with their orientation and territorial vocation also create an organisation system around the centre of the collective green space changing with the urban environment In addition to the diversification of use and space for meeting the needs of different age and economic groups leisure activities, this concentric system of patio, garden, portico organisation will be a green buffer space that keeps away the excessive sun exposure, noise and pollutant emissions from traffic, creating a semi private space. Concept of the plan The plan is organized around a central volume which has a bioclimatic function (buffer zones) but is also the central point of the spatial distribution that flows through open and closed spaces. The external spaces, are considered as transitional and mediation spaces, which are creating a relationship between the public and private space and lifestyle. The courtyard, portico, patio system is designed not only for creating an open living space but also being able to be used for the future needs of the users as closed spaces, rooms etc…

Text next to the sections and Energy Concept The simple building type is designed for being able to be constructed by local people . . The main feature is the use of local building materials which are Feasible, easy to work with and able to create an interpretation of the local traditions. Material for the exterior walls is rammed earth which has a high thermal capacity and the interior façade and partitions are made of wood modular panelling which can be seen as an element that can be interchanged, reused and adapted for different comfort needs of different user types. + Development of innovative housing types, with high flexibility of use for the organization of interior space (lack of facilities in the rooms) and the complete integration of the plant system with the structure and building envelope; + Articulated distribution according to the needs of different building types, to give order to space yet create very different environments and strongly related with the environment, directly and visually; + Close association of the envelope thermal mass systems (+ green roof) increased with mounting solutions of the slabs, use of active and passive bioclimatic systems. + Clear separation of driveways from the pedestrian and cycle paths, in order to minimize the presence and movement within the car, creating a garden environment for the use of cluster housing and other public green spaces within the margin of cluster. The open form of the house increase the efficiency but also create to exploit natural resources rationally, reducing overall costs in terms of energy and environmental impact. The research for balance between building / people / environment has generated a series of such architectural and typological features, simplicity, image, thus avoiding to impose at all costs, a vocation or a way to eco-sustainable ’ building. The project was developed to ensure equal possibilities to all dwellings in relation to access to sunlight and possible overexposure to the sun The building-plant system combines aspects of “passive” solar panels (producing domestic hot water) and photovoltaic panels to produce electricity used for ventilation or de-humidification.

Text next to the elevations The shielding elements, marked by protrusions and recesses of the balconies, the game of the sunscreen timber along with plant elements, will come to life when people will appropriate the wealth of space and will mark the complexity of use, even outdoors and the landscape (with mini indoor culture), increasing over time the link with the landscape and the territory. The choice of building systems and building materials were aimed at the completion of the general objectives of population health, sanitary and living conditions of the environment, energy saving and reduction of resource use in terms of raw materials in short supply. Rejecting the image of many settlements housing in which the connective tissue is made up of bleak and monotonous expanses of asphalt surfaces at alternate parking, while green is limited to a few stunted tree in the border areas devastated by improper, the project organizes gaps as part aimed at revitalizing the neighborhood and neighborhood environment, and then the green goes to the limits of housing units within the cluster housing. The green room will help to create social spaces, full of activities, nature, exchange, contacts between groups and generations. Priority objective to be pursued with the use of green is not only to limit the occlusion of the soil ensuring the permeability of the ground water table and placed in a larger amount of rainwater, but also to mend the batch setting, avoid creating an island morphologically autartic.
