The site planning involved the creation of three separate buildings on fragments of the existing site. The fragmentation of the site resulted from various factors such as site views, Hausmanian setback rules, the preservation of old-growth trees and a stringent site development code.

The project is conceived as a large-scale urban 3D matrix, to which we applied a careful ‘cutting’ and ‘coring’ process. The finished project is a result of both existing urban and ecological factors, which register as conceptual starting points and determining factors in the creation of the design of new urban space.
