The site is located in dense residential area in inner city in which plots are heavily divided into narrow shape. In this small site, a house for a family and a roof for a tortoise are designed.

Hollows for pond and tree which needs deep depth are made to create an environment of the roof.

These hollows directly appear as the projections on ceiling inside the house which are reflection of the functions of the roof.

In this house, it is not important to bring the environment on the roof into the house directly, but it is important to affect residents activities by suddenly appearing the projections as back side of the environment.
