Dawn

In sequence along an axis, the three areas of work, living and rest are represented by juxtaposed buildings whose shape remains recognizable from the outside: a polyhedron V, a large rectangular hall and a tower based on two levels. Inside, holes and courses encourage a possible dialogue between each cavity.

The silences are not all alike. The silence of a great ship is different from that of a habitation. And even more different sounds can be perceived outside of the field through a long silence. Thus, in a large central room, modulated in plan and elevation of three squares of six feet square, is the heart of the project. Paving Travertine and Venetian plaster smoothed over the wide arch developed over, done, through color uniformity, a continuous loop, surrounding the viewer, offers a sort of blank page to write to his own life . At the same time, the light from the long sides of the habitation, gives the possibility to interpret the space.

Living

On the south side, the window position and welcomes the winter sun through a thick enough “moon” of concrete, protection from the sun in winter. Down in the center, a block of travertine is excavated by a low cavity. Inside a rectangular functions as a work surface for the kitchen, occupying the center, in essence, a portal leading to the pantry and two small windows make the corners of the room leading to the outdoor terrace.

Living

On the opposite side of the classroom, to the north, the windows are restricted to the corners, an erect position. From floor to ceiling openings list the slanting rays of the sun shooting at dawn and dusk summer, entering the room diagonally, color space for new meanings.

In the passage between the great room and the tower of rest, a light blue sky, hiding its source, bathed from above the wooden walls and concrete paths and stairs to the tower, making a scenic background color changes, a constantly changing picture.
