Following its premiere at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in 2009, the project China Design Market (CDM) returns as part of Zona Tortona official circuit in the spaces of DesignLibrary in Via Savona, with a multifaceted program featuring exciting new partnerships.

Born out of the collaborative efforts of Abitare China magazine and BIDC (Beijing Industrial Design Center) with the support of the Lenovo Group, CDM has been launched as a cooperative platform for the promotion and enhancement of strategic synergies between the international design market and the domestic one, a fast-growing reality of both creative potential and entrepreneurial ambition.

Lenovo in Milan – The Lè in Design is a showcase interpreting the new philosophy behind the products of this grand Chinese company. Lè – literally translated from the Chinese as joy, glee – is the creative factor nurturing the essential qualities of the products here presented, all created by a sophisticated spirit imbued with the cultural optimism and inexhaustible energy characterizing China today.

The project curated by MODOURBANO investigates the ludic aspects of Lenovo Group. Thousand of balloons, with corporate logo printed on, fill the room floating above the best new products of the Chinese company distributed on 4 islands: LePhone, IdeaPad U Series, IdeaCentre and IdeaPad S/Y Series. The guest interact with the exhibition system, modifing it and bringing the company logo out of Design Library spaces, in the heart of ZonaTortona or into the city of Milan.
