The miniature theatre is the new home of a travelling theatre group from Horse & Bamboo Theatre, Manchester. An audience of 35 people and 3 actors fit into the mobile tent structure.

Invoked by the idea of kaleidoscope the form of the theatre rotates around an imaginary axis. Two overlapping skins merge to give an elusive presence and an unexpected experience of the event. The exterior skin forms a twisted magic box that veils the arching interior skin reflects light behind the outer skin. It is opaque on the inside and creates a dark interior for the theatre lighting.
