Travelling pavilion for private foundation

Con el lema “Liberdad para crear”, una fundación privada abrirá en el 2014 y tendrá dos objetivos. En primer lugar deberá ser el archivo de su historia previa, tanto a nivel físico (documentos, libros, objetos) como digital. En segundo lugar, será un centro de creatividad, con la idea de crear y, posteriormente, compartir ideas y hallazgos a través de Internet. La propuesta consta de un espacio de representación de la fundación y de sus valores en cualquier punto del mundo, una plataforma para poder dar a conocer las distintas iniciativas y acomodar multiples funciones (laboratorio de ideas, espacio divulgativo, talleres, restaurante, catas..). Se trata de un pabellón modular, ligero, desmontable y transportable pensado para ser colocado en lugares escenográficos e inesperados. Está compuesto por dos módulos idénticos triangulares, que gracias a sus diferentes combinaciones formales tiene un espacio interior flexible para albergar diferentes posibles configuraciones. El carácter internacional del pabellón se enfatizará con el hecho de que el interior de cada instalación será decorado por artistas locales.

With the slogan “Freedom to create”, a private foundation will open in 2014 and will have two objectives. First will be the archive of its history, both physically (documents, books, objects) and digital. Second, it will be a center of creativity, with the idea to create and then share ideas and discoveries through the Internet. The project is a space for representation of the foundation and its values anywhere in the world, a platform to show the various initiatives and to accommodate multiple functions (think tank, informative space, workshop, restaurant, wine tasting ..). It’s a modular, lightweight, removable and transportable pavilion, intended to be placed in scenic and unexpected places. It consists of two identical triangular modules and thanks to its various formal combinations, it has a flexible interior space to accommodate different possible configurations. The international character of the pavilion will be emphasized with the fact that its interior spaces will be decorated by local artists.
