The project of the house of prayer and learning comes from the desire to create a unique building that represents the encounter and dialogue of the three religions, Christian, Jewish and Muslim. The concept is expressed by a compact and pure volume, raised on the existing foundation church, and facing the sky through the three towers.

The house of prayer should be a “modern” building and a new symbol of a new historical phase in which dialogue and sharing are key factors for the peaceful integration of religion in the multicultural context of the contemporary world.

The distinctive geometry of the triangular opening is made by linear structural element that cross and meet symbolizing the union, the link, the attitude to come together and join peacefully force and minds of different culture and different creeds.

The volume is pierced by a system of openings for subtraction to the structural system, in reference to the tradition of Gothic and Gothic Revival of the existing church. This system of triangular openings gives to the building a strong character and a spiritual identity.

The building layout provides that the three religions are treated equally, ensures the performance of the specific functions of each religion and promote the meeting, dialogue and confrontation.

The building rise up on the archaeological rests standing up on pillars. It becomes shelter of the archaeological area keeping it entirely free and accessible.
