The project raised the extension of a house of social interest that counted on 53m2 in its original state and required an extension of 90m2 in one second plant to satisfy the necessities with space of a family of five members. With a limited initial budget, it was required that the extension did not imply a total demolition of the house, thus seted out that the intervention was carried out you dare of a concrete structure from independent to the already existing house, in such a way that supported the total load of the extension without requiring of first, since within the preliminary studies that were made of the present state, it was solved that the existing structure could not support a load superior to 300kg/m2. The house is located within division projected by the Infonavit to the outskirts of the urban zone of Atotonilco el Alto, more than half of the population that resides in this division she is not original of the region, the majority is of the city of Guadalajara, that works of temporary form in this city. As in most of the developments of social interest of the country the proprietors of it houses have the interest to personalize their houses to avoid monotonie, either adding one or the more plants, changing the color of the facades or adding simple moldings and as in most of the cases in this type of interventions the professional services of the architects they are not required, by most of the interventions is carried out by own hand. The co pretty house with which we could call the distrital center of the colony, since in this zone the parish is located and a seat, an aerial prescholastic school and a sport one. What we looked for with the project is one to generate a greater optimization of the spaces, we looked for to take advantage of the greater ventilation and natural illumination through the three facades on which it counts the house, and thus to obtain better results of comfort, to provide with own identity to the house, were placed photovoltaic cells as well to reduce the consumption of fossil energy.
