The house is located at a small cluster in Queretaro. The site is narrow (11m at north- 14m at south) and long (almost 35 m). It’s located in a corner with a slope of 12 m from north to south.

The traditional typology of a 3 story up house was reversed for the landscape roof and 3 stories down.

The carport is part of the landscape. When we go closer to the house the first things we saw are two planes with different high an covered with slab stone from the region. The cover creates at the same time three different and independent volumes that contain the three bedrooms (the private spaces). This three volumes float over the the three platforms or terraces. The platforms are adapted to the topography.

The first platform contains the service area, the family room, the studio and the access to the master bedroom highest volume. The second platform is the guest pedestrian access that connects to a bridge that takes us to the children bedrooms. At the bridge you can see the three platforms and the volumes floating inside the void.

The third platform organizes the living room, the dinning room, the kitchen and the garden. The white volumes are supported by two walls. The walls are covered by wood and emphasize the structural forces,

The crystal at the last platform (south and east façade) helps lighting the space emphasizing the feeling of being inside a big continuous void
