Ancient future metropolis…. Ancient future monuments Babel Towers in the desert. ART AND TECHNOLOGY this is the mark of great civilizations of the future. This Tower embodies both the millennia roots of mid eastern civilizations and special concepts of modern times; it evokes the past by launching it into the future. Its by frontal approach includes an ancient skyline on both sides and a modern front view. A complete visit of the tower which entails rising to the top both externally and internally Thrusts us into a virtual, trans epochal journey. One may reach the top via elevator ( technology) and come down again on its exterior ancient Stairway ( art). The Tower is composed of three fundamental architectural parts : - The EXTERNAL STAIRSWAY that rises to the top floor embracing its volume is its real tourist attraction : one descends at a height of 136 meters. - The transparent CENTRAL NUCLEOUS constructed in steel and glass ( is actually the only utilized part of the Tower) - The LATERAL WALLS in brick that model the rising stairway. Stairway Begins on the ground floor and goes all the way to the top. Each floor has an entrance to the interior leading directly into the central area or heart of the tower complex. Central nucleus The usable section of the tower. Two elevators holding 8 persons provide vertical lift. The external stairway leads up to every flight Curtain walls The lateral brick walls are panelled throughout with PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS. The only openings to these are the entrance doors from the stairway to internal floors. FUNCTIONS Podium ( the ground floor houses a central open gallery) - Ground floor houses a children’s library on one side of the central gallery and an information hall- reception on the other. -The first floor houses a Conference Room and accessory units. Activities take place on two levels Top floors The only usable area on these floors is to be found in the Central Nucleus. The Tower will provide for cultural as well as touristic activities: - Space for art exhibits, etc - Space for permanent Museum and Art Gallery - Panoramic terrace ( levels + 104 + 108) - Bar-cafeteria ( levels + 116 + 120) - Roof Garden ( from level +132 to +144) - Technical floors - LIGHT HOUSE on the last two floors Basement About 40 cars spaces and deposits are located in the basement. Basement entry is located at Park south-west
