The urban scene of Teheran looks like a pot-pourri of styles, a gallery of architectural appearances. Our proposal thought dynamic, but measured, able to relate the city with lightness, neutrality and abstraction. Lightness of lines, shapes and materials, to create a building that pander and direct the sight of who walks the streets outside the site on which will insists the building, passing on two sides of this. Lightness in the coating skin, porous and delicate, blurs the contours of the building, it will be decorated with a texture belonging to islamic architectural tradition. Neutrality with the city. The structure, available to let through from side to side, appears even visually open to the outside, contextually maintain its identity distinct from the surrounding buildings. Abstraction in sense of emancipation from every dependency form-function, which conventional “freezes” the architectural expression, breaking up the identity of the building. Our objective is characterize the whole building, within which let take place to the functions in the most flexible and negotiable way. The zoning restrictions in regard to the volume high and covered surface, may suggest a too simple and easy reference to the classical ziqqurat of Iran or a tripartite canon: the shopping center, offices, residences. TTo not fall in no one of this, in respect of the request, the space allocated to various functions has been characterized like open to different way to use it. The main floor is interpreted like an entrance to the whole building before the commercial items or office or homes, and largely enjoyed by freedom of movement and articulation system. Also with the use of movable walls, the sites is configured to have multiple destination variable in space and time (closely related to the stores of higher-level, maybe used for promotion, or sponsorship of cultural events, social and artistic). Also a common area (auditorium) is designed for use both internal or external to the building. Upstairs paths bring into communication defined spaces that are not identified to belong to this or that company, but for what type of activities could be best accommodated there, both for exposure to daylight and for the possibility of communication and exchange between the office workers. The functions that are placed inside, do not appear outside “tout court” for a form. Even the green spaces are distributed everywhere horizontally but also vertically, with a big “green wall” in the courtyard of fifth floor. Combining all togheter, like a core, is the inner courtyard, belongs to the traditional homes and palaces of Islam architecture, attract pathways and functions, it blooms enlarging gap from the bottom upwards. It is thought also for inner climate, leaving pass the air that comes abundantly from the ground floor shall be conveyed to fully open up creates a natural cooling during summer. The whole system is permeable to air and light, with a day effect of welcome from the city’s vision of the building, and a night of exposure to this city of its internal life.
