The architectural concept would be conceived to enhance and draw out an even greater natural force using new aesthetic languages. The “tape” building appears in the context like a silk bug, almost floating, yet solid and rich in material, dynamic, transparent and seemingly weightless in a new combination between traditional techniques and a vision of the future. Light and shadow as the project “code”, natural vibration of light, new “sensitive” surfaces, real and surreal at the same time. The skin of the building is realised with a metallic canvas that supports a photovoltaic fabric, exploiting the possibilities offered by nanotechnology OPV (Organic Photovoltaics) in the form of fabric to capture and creates energy from the sun. The appeal and charme of the skin represent the idea of a dramatic dress wrapping the building in a dramatic poem about the freedom of expression not disconnected from local traditions respecting their rules. The matrices of the pattern, kite and dart, create the composition based on the Penrose tile. The review of the sophisticated geometry of Islamic Architecture is used to investigate with a new language the Iranian tradition and culture. Using the natural power of the environment the composition of the building, and its straight shape, is conceived studying the shadow patterns with the solar irradiation so to exploit as well passive heating system; at the same time creating a natural system of cross ventilation through the realization of a passage South-North exploiting the dominant wind. The idea to create a courtyard working like a wind-catcher is based on the concept of a traditional Persian architectural device used for many century to create natural ventilation in buildings. Thinking about a wind vortex the design of the landscape for courtyard and the rest of the interior is based on a painting of Giacomo Balla, called Vortice, realizing a sculpture where is located a tree and two water pools. This concern creates also a system of partition in sheeting made of PVC able to give a flexible system for interior of the commercial space, that needs to change every time its image, and the organization of the office in the floors above. Conceiving the skein of thread wrapping the building in the realization of a metallic dress able to give a feeling of soft elegance and balance.
